Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and analytical Business Analyst to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a robust background in data analysis, particularly with tools like Power BI and Excel, and experience in financial or banking systems, with a specific focus on commercial lending. The Business Analyst will be responsible for analyzing and interpreting data to support business decisions, developing dashboards and reports, and managing multiple projects simultaneously. Strong communication skills and the ability to work with management-level individuals to capture and understand their requirements are essential.
Key Responsibilities
Conducting metrics and data analysis to support business decisions.
Utilizing your expert level of Excel to create high-level reports.
Collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for process improvement.
Assisting in capacity management and resource allocation.
Qualifications
- Education:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Data Science, or a related field. Advanced degree or certification in Business Analysis is a plus.
- Experience:
- Proven experience as a Business Analyst, Data Analyst, or similar role with a focus on data analysis and reporting.
- Demonstrated experience with Power BI, including creating dashboards, reports, and queries.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel, including the use of VLOOKUP, pivot tables, and macros.
- Experience working with financial or banking systems, especially in commercial lending.
- Skills:
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to work with complex data sets.
- Excellent communication skills, with experience in managing professional conversations with senior management.
