Established firm in Downtown Los Angeles seeks an experienced Litigation Secretary to join their team. The ideal Litigation Secretary will cover a 3:1 desk, possesses 3+ years of civil litigation defense experience, and has strong knowledge of e-filing (state, federal, and appellate) and calendaring.
Litigation Secretary Duties:
- Calendaring internal and court deadlines
- Proofreading various legal documents
- E-filing with state and federal courts
- Preparing TOC's/TOA's and discovery shells
- Trial preparation
- Document processing
- Additional administrative duties
Litigation Secretary Requirements
- 3+ years of civil litigation defense experience
- Must have Federal and State e-filing experience
- Possess strong civil litigation experience, including a mastery of court e-filings with Federal, State (CA) and Appellate Courts.
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, strong client service skills, and excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work well under pressure, multi-task and set priorities while meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Additional Information:
- Salary Range: $70k - $82k annually depending on experience
- Parking: paid parking
- Location: Fully on-site in Downtown Los Angeles
