DataStaff, Inc. is currently seeking an IT Quality Analyst for a contract opportunity with one of our direct clients in Raleigh, NC.
*This position is hybrid; 3 days in the office and 2 remote/ weekly.
Responsibilities:
- Work daily in the Regression team performing manual and automated testing.
- Work on enhancing the existing suite of tests to include all new Customer Service requests implemented in Production
- Analyze any issues/errors in the regression tests and co-ordinate with either the BA or the Developer for defect resolution
- Communicate with team members and team lead
Required Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field
- 4+ years - Experience in software testing
- 4+ years - Experience in industry to include experience in Medicaid
Required Technical Skills:
- Experience in Agile Software Development
- TSO/SQL knowledge desirable
- Good understanding of the QA methodologies and Software Testing Lifecycle, including test planning, reporting, and metrics.
- Very good verbal and written communication skills
- Strong analytical and diagnostic skills, as well as attention to detail
- Automated testing, especially Selenium
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word
- Critical thinking skills to analyze system requirements for ambiguities and discrepancies
- Aptitude for thinking outside the box to develop thorough test scenarios and test cases
- Competent database skills
Required Skills and Abilities:
- Design, develops, and execute test cases and scripts based on software requirements
- Design, create, and maintain Automated Test Frameworks for front and back-end systems/applications
- Write and execute manual and automated tests.
- Implement end to end Test Automation tests
- Improve existing Test Automation Frameworks
- Use bug-tracking systems to submit, track, and manage defects.
- Analyze the results of tests of tests providing meaningful reports to the team.
- Maintain software testing artifacts.
- Use queries to create test data and analyze results for the tests performed.
- Work with other testers and key stakeholders to ensure coverage for each software release.
- Collaborates with the development team on big fix verification and validation
- Work closely with manual testers or Business Analysts.
- Experience in working with Selenium
