Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced Primavera P6 Scheduler to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating, maintaining, and updating project schedules using Primavera P6. This role involves close collaboration with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure that projects are completed on time, within scope, and within budget.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and manage detailed project schedules using Primavera P6.
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and stakeholders to gather project requirements and ensure all scheduling activities are aligned with project goals.
- Monitor and update project schedules regularly to reflect changes in project scope, resources, and deadlines.
- Perform critical path analysis to identify potential delays and recommend corrective actions.
- Prepare and present schedule reports, including Gantt charts, progress updates, and forecasts, to project stakeholders.
- Coordinate with multiple teams to ensure schedule adherence and resolve conflicts or bottlenecks.
- Assist in resource allocation and leveling, ensuring optimal utilization of resources across projects.
- Identify schedule risks and develop mitigation strategies to manage potential impacts on project timelines.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, industry standards, and regulatory requirements in all scheduling activities.
- Maintain accurate documentation of scheduling activities, including baseline schedules, updates, and historical data.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Construction Management, Project Management, or a related field.
- years of experience in project scheduling, with a strong focus on Primavera P6.
- Proficient in Primavera P6, with demonstrated experience in schedule development, management, and reporting.
- Strong understanding of project management principles, including scope, time, cost, quality, and risk management.
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to perform detailed critical path analysis and scenario planning.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
