POSITION: Beverage and Bar Operations Director(Japanese Restaurant)
Location: Topanga, CA(Restaurant) /Woodland Hills, CA(Office - Once a week)
Summary:
The ideal Beverage and Bar Operations Director is responsible for ensuring excellence, creativity and maintaining brand identity, as well as managing profitability of the bar and beverage programs at each location/concept.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Oversee beverage operations.
- Give presentations and provide training when franchisees come for visits as well
- With bartenders prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks, including cocktails, wine, beer, and liquor
- Create new cocktails for seasonal occasions
- Train and evaluate staff performance, and provide feedback and disciplinary action when needed
- Monitor customer feedback and implement improvement strategies
- Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure safety and sanitation standards are met
- Develop and manage budgets and analyze financial statements
- Monitor vendor and supplier performance to ensure quality and cost-effectiveness
- Negotiate contracts and resolve disputes with vendors
- Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations
Requirements and Qualifications:
- At least 5 years of experience in beverage management and bartending experience
- Knowledge of food and beverage safety and sanitation regulations
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Proven ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong organizational, problem-solving, and leadership skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software
