Job Title: Senior Planning Engineer
Job Description
We're hiring a Senior Planning Engineer who will be responsible for the overall evaluation and control of the assigned project schedules. You will prepare schedule development, maintenance, and monitoring of the planning/scheduling activities with minimal or no supervisory oversight. You will manage various schedules to ensure that work is completed as scheduled and identify schedule-associated trends for management attention and action. In addition, you will support development of the monthly reports and to perform schedule assessments as requested.
The work schedule will be hybrid, 3 days in office and 2 days from your home office.
• Offers supervision over the creation of Master Project schedules in a portfolio setting by engineering and construction partners.
• Applies assurance procedures to master project schedules created by contractors.
• As requested, takes the initiative to prepare schedule data for the duration of the project.
• Confirms that the designated schedules accurately reflect the scope of work.
• Combines limitations and schedule needs to create logical work sequences.
Examines and evaluates the task sequences in relation to the overall project plan.
• Examines schedule data and finds and gathers data required to finish the working logic that connects projects and/or allocated resources.
• Creates project-specific work breakdown structures (WBS) and codes of accounting, and suggests necessary adjustments and revisions for newly assigned work items.
• Establishes the project's critical path activities and the requirements needed to minimize any potential delays.
• Finds, examines, and keeps track of schedule deviations for submittals from subcontractors; suggests remedial measures or work-arounds for project considerations.
• Arranges and participates in regular Project team meetings to make sure that the Project team is aware of impending or past-due tasks.
• Under the supervision of the Senior Project Engineering Manager, carries out additional duties related to this role as needed.
Required Qualifications
• B.S. degree highly preferred in a technical discipline, or in lieu of a degree, 1O+ years' experience in Construction may be considered.
• 10 years of related work experience in planning and scheduling of both engineering and construction activities.
• Knowledgeable of current Primavera Enterprise Systems (P6) scheduling technology and how it can be effectively utilized on the project.
• Proficient in all MS Office software including MS Project scheduling software.
• Proven ability to perform in a technical role, possess good written and oral communication skills, and have a thorough understanding of industry practices and regulations
• Self-managing, proactive.

• Oracle B.I.
• Primavera certification.
• Capital Project experience.
• EPC contractor experience, Multiple projects and managing contractors
