Our client, a digital marketing agency specializing in franchise businesses, is seeking a visionary and passionate Director of Client Services to lead their talented team and become a trusted advisor to our C-suite clientele across various brands. In this role, you will be the architect of exceptional client experiences, ensuring outstanding results and fostering long-term, meaningful relationships while driving incremental revenue through product and service distribution. You will build out foundational processes within the Account Team to scale and elevate client satisfaction.
Responsibilities:
- Client Leadership & Relationship Management: Build and nurture strong, strategic relationships with C-level executives and key franchisees across the client base. Ensure deliverables meet and exceed client expectations, contributing to high client satisfaction. Become a trusted advisor by understanding unique business challenges and recommending data-driven digital marketing solutions.
- Client Success & Profitability: Oversee all client services, ensuring seamless execution and exceeding client expectations. Develop and implement strategies to maximize client lifetime value and agency profitability through customer focus and retention.
- Digital Marketing Agency Expertise: Possess a deep understanding of digital marketing performance metrics (ROI, CPA, etc.) and translate them into actionable insights for clients. Demonstrate expertise in digital marketing channels and analytics, including troubleshooting, performance data analysis, and proactive issue identification.
- Technical Proficiency: Demonstrate strong hands-on technical skills to leverage technology effectively. Apply technical knowledge to solve complex problems, with expertise in Enterprise Level CRM and Software as a Service (SaaS) environments.
- Team Leadership & Development: Lead, mentor, and inspire a high-performing client services team. Foster a collaborative environment that prioritizes communication, problem-solving, and continuous improvement. Drive process improvement initiatives and share work stream best practices.
- Issue Resolution & Escalation Point: Serve as the ultimate escalation point for all client concerns. Approach challenges with a solutions-oriented mindset, ensuring swift resolution while maintaining positive client relationships. Build strong rapport quickly and navigate client challenges with confidence.
- Business Development & Growth: Collaborate with the sales team to develop new business opportunities and execute growth plans to expand the client portfolio. Leverage strong client relationships to secure referrals and upsell services.
Required Qualifications:
- 10+ years of experience in digital marketing agency leadership, with a proven track record of exceeding client expectations and driving revenue growth.
- Strong understanding of the full digital marketing landscape, including paid search, social media marketing, SEO, and programmatic advertising.
- Demonstrated ability to translate complex data and performance metrics into actionable insights for clients.
- Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to build rapport and trust at the C-suite level.
- Proven leadership skills with the ability to motivate, coach, and inspire a high-performing team.
- Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution skills with a focus on maintaining positive client relationships.
