Commercial Solar Program Manager
LogicLamp is seeking an experienced solar professional to help set up and drive our commercial solar business. In this role, you will work directly with and report to the President to design the new Commercial Solar program and manage the sale of commercial solar projects throughout the country.
The Commercial Solar Program Manager is responsible for overseeing the development, implementation, and management of solar energy programs while also driving sales efforts and integrating Battery Energy Storage (BES) solutions. This role involves coordinating with various stakeholders, managing project timelines, and ensuring the successful execution of solar projects from inception to completion, with a strong focus on sales, client acquisition, and BES integration. Ideal candidates will be highly self-motivated, ethical, and knowledgeable about commercial solar.

Estimated Salary per year, including commission : $80,000-$150,000

Key Responsibilities:
Program Development and Management:
- Design and implement solar energy programs.
- Develop program goals, objectives, and strategies.
- Monitor program performance and make adjustments as needed.
Sales and Business Development:
- Generate leads and identify new business opportunities.
- Develop and maintain relationships with potential clients.
- Conduct sales presentations and pitch solar and BES solutions to clients.
- Negotiate contracts and close sales deals.
- Achieve sales targets and contribute to the company’s revenue growth.
Battery Energy Storage (BES) Integration:
- Assess client needs and recommend appropriate BES solutions.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to design and implement BES systems.
- Ensure BES systems are integrated seamlessly with solar installations.
- Stay updated on the latest BES technologies and industry trends of solar panels, inverters, BES systems, and other necessary equipment.
Client and Stakeholder Management:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients and stakeholders.
- Define project requirements, scope, and objectives.
- Ensure clear communication and understanding of expectations.
Compliance and Risk Management:
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
- Obtain all necessary permits and licenses for solar and BES installations.
- Identify potential project risks and develop mitigation strategies.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Environmental Science, Business, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in solar energy project management and sales.
- Strong knowledge of solar energy systems, including design, installation, and maintenance.
- Proven track record in sales and business development.
- Experience with Battery Energy Storage (BES) systems.
- Proficiency with project management software and tools.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong organizational and leadership abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with solar and BES design and analysis software (e.g., Helioscope).
- Knowledge of financial incentives and regulatory requirements for solar and BES.
- Strong networking and relationship-building skills.
