Solutions Architect:
Job Description:
The Solution Architect is responsible for designing and overseeing the technical solutions and architecture for the Product team. They select appropriate technologies, and create robust, scalable, and cost-effective solutions that align with organizational goals and best practices, all while managing the product teams to drive success. The Solution Architect, in conjunction with the Product Manger, oversee the work of their product teams and report to the Sr. Product Manager and Enterprise Architect.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with stakeholders to design technical solutions that meet business requirements
- Assess and select appropriate technologies, tools, and frameworks for building solutions
- Define integration strategies
- Ensure seamless integration of various components, systems, and services
- Create and maintain detailed architecture documentation
- Design systems that can scale to handle increased workloads
- Implement security measures and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
- Conduct cost-benefit analyses to make informed decisions about technology choices and resource allocation
- Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies
- Create prototypes and proof-of-concept implementations to validate design concepts
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with project goals and objectives
Skills & Expertise:
- Ability to design and architect technical solutions that meet specific business requirements
- Proficiency in assessing and selecting appropriate technologies, tools, and frameworks for building solutions
- Understanding of integration strategies to ensure seamless integration of various components, systems, and services
- Ability to design systems that can scale to handle increased workloads
- Effective collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with project goals and objectives
- Knowledge of implementing security measures and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements
- Proficiency in SAFe principals and Agile frameworks such as Scrum or Kanban, enabling efficient product development
- Capability to conduct cost-benefit analyses to make informed decisions about technology choices and resource allocation
- Proficiency in identifying potential risks and developing mitigation strategies
- Skill in creating prototypes and proof-of-concept implementations to validate design concepts
- Skill in creating and maintaining detailed architecture documentation
Experience Required:
- 7-10 years of experience in software development and architecture roles
- A bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as computer science, information technology, or engineering
- Plus, MBA enterprise architecture
