Role Overview:
We are looking for an experienced Superintendent with high integrity and a passion for excellence, to oversee and manage all aspects of the field-related construction process and customer service for assigned projects. If you are seeking a large corporation with strict protocols, we may not be the best fit. Key Responsibilities:
- Manage day-to-day construction activities, including scheduling, coordination with subcontractors, and ensuring compliance with safety standards and building codes.
- Serve as the primary liaison between the project team, clients, architects, and subcontractors. Facilitate effective communication and address any issues promptly.
- Develop and maintain project schedules, identify critical path activities, and ensure timely delivery of materials and equipment.
- Implement and uphold quality control measures, ensuring all work meets project specifications and high standards of craftsmanship.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and professional job site at all times, including the proper disposal of excess materials and daily cleanup.
- Enforce safety protocols and ensure a safe working environment in compliance with company policies and regulations.
- Foster a positive, collaborative environment on the job site, demonstrating enthusiasm and professionalism that motivates team members and promotes a productive work atmosphere.
- Maintain accurate records of project progress, including daily reports, changes, and issues. Oversee the completion of all required permits and inspections.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Superintendent, ideally with a focus on luxury custom residential projects.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field is preferred, but relevant experience is also acceptable.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints and construction documents. Strong organizational and leadership skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
- Basic computer skills with knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite. Familiarity with construction management software is a plus.
- Demonstrates a positive, solution-oriented mindset, capable of maintaining morale and productivity in a fast-paced environment.
Work Environment:
- Requires travel to various job sites within SW Florida, with the potential for multiple locations daily.
- Must be dependable, flexible, and able to work effectively in a dynamic environment.
Compensation & Benefits:
- Salary: Starting from $100,000+, commensurate with experience.
