Contract Duration: 3 months with the possibility of extension (March is go-live)

Bill Rate: $105 - $110 per hour
Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Mendix Engineer to join our team for an exciting short-term project with the potential for extension. This role involves working closely with our development team to deliver a full Mendix implementation by the go-live date in March.
Responsibilities:
- Application Design: Utilize Mendix’s visual modeling tools to design applications, including data models and business logic. Create user interfaces that meet user needs and business requirements.
- Building Applications: Leverage Mendix’s prebuilt components and design microflows to build applications. Ensure applications are developed efficiently using Mendix’s low-code platform.
- Testing and Troubleshooting: Test and troubleshoot applications to ensure optimal performance. Monitor and address issues as they arise.
- Integration: Integrate existing frameworks with custom or modern solutions to enhance application functionality.
- Stakeholder Communication: Engage with customers, team members, and other stakeholders to gather functional specifications and ensure alignment with project goals.
- Documentation: Document technical aspects of applications to ensure clarity and maintainability.
- Business Solutions: Provide effective business solutions using Mendix to drive increased business value.
- Reporting: Send update reports to management on project progress, issues, and resolutions.
Qualifications:
- Experience: 5-7 years of Mendix engineering experience, including full implementations. Familiarity with Mendix architecture is crucial.
- Skills: Minimal UI experience is helpful alongside Mendix. Proficiency in visual modeling tools and a solid understanding of application architecture is required.
- Communication: Strong ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders and team members.
