Position Overview:
The Project Scrum Master is responsible for employing Agile project methodologies, empowering the team, and clearing any potential roadblocks, paving the way for the project success and ensuring quality deliverables, to be delivered on time and within budget. The Scrum Master leads the team through the execution of technology-focused projects from conception through delivery, including successful project definition, planning, budgeting, time estimating and scheduling, project staff planning and resource leveling, organizing, and leading high performance project teams, and delivery of projects within assigned organization. This role manages all factors that govern project success to ensure high quality delivery within time, cost, and quality parameters. This role influences stakeholders and resource managers to follow standard project management practices and achieve project goals.
What you’ll be doing:
- Coordinating the activities of project teams (internal and external resources)
- Identifying, monitoring, and managing risks and mitigation plans
- Managing change management plan, including project engagement and communication
- Managing the project scope (content, cost, planning) & interdependencies
- Supporting the Product/Workstream Owner on refining the product backlog, enabling longer-term work visibility for reporting to delivery, and management teams
- Identifying and managing the risks associated with projects to achieve project success
- Creating, maintaining, and delivering on project and work stream plans, revising as appropriate to meet changing understanding and needs
- Fostering teamwork, building mutual trust, respect, and cooperation among team members
- Assisting with internal and external communication, improving transparency, and project information
- Excellent communication skills, with experience in influencing, listening actively, and negotiating within a team environment
- Competency in applying knowledge of business and the marketplace to advance the organization goals
- Experience managing multiple product teams and coordinating work across multiple teams and releases

What we’re looking for:
- Minimum of 2-5 years in IT specific project coordination, scrum or management, is a must
- Experience with Agile and Scrum team projects
- Experience in a MS Azure DevOps environment
- CSM required
- Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills
- Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multitasking skills
- Familiarity with software development
- Excellent knowledge of Scrum techniques and artifacts such as the Definition of Done, user stories, automated testing, and backlog refinement
- Strong knowledge of other Agile frameworks
- Experienced in MS Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
- Experience in Smartsheet experience a plus
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work with large and diverse teams as well as independently
- Ability to work under pressure
Bonus Points:
- Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) certification, or other relevant certifications.
