The Business Analyst / Training Specialist will be responsible for the delivery of virtual and in-person client curricula and more importantly, supporting and troubleshooting application issues regarding the new work force management software being rolled out. This individual will need to understand the IT applications thoroughly to guide and help resolve product issues from the users while in the field. The Business Analyst / Training Specialist must be motivated, passionate, and constantly looking to improve the quality and efficiency of the training and analysis s/he delivers. This resource must have proven experience contributing independently as well as in a team environment, possess excellent written and verbal communication skills, and demonstrate influential leadership.
Responsibilities:
- After learning the new work force management software, provide guidance and input about the new application software to end users.
- Ensure quality of training by partnering with the Client Lead to drive improvements to the existing training materials, and other related curricula to align and address client needs.
- Ability to troubleshoot issues with the users so that knowledge can be applied to update the training materials, and/or training process for next group of trainees.
- Deliver engaging, highly interactive training to adult learners. This includes two new web-based work force management systems.
- Use interpersonal styles to promote a culture of open communication with colleagues and team members to achieve client objectives.
- Ability to assess peer trainers on both knowledge and skill through observation, interview, and survey.
- Measure post training feedback to identify opportunities for continuous self-improvement.
- Demonstrate strong training delivery platform skills while effectively applying adult learning principles.

- Learn corporate systems, processes, and software applications, including the business purpose of each, how to use them, and when the systems are used.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business Analysis, Training, Curriculum Design, Operations, Communications, Human Resources, Organizational Development, Teaching, or related discipline
- At least 3 years of experience in a business analysis role in a corporate environment preferred, training experience is a plus

- Exceptional presentation and facilitation skills delivering instructor-led and web-based/eLearning training solutions
- Outstanding interpersonal, consultative, and influencing skills
- Project and time management skills with a "can-do" attitude to effectively meet deadlines

- Experience with writing procedures and/or documentation

- Knowledge of varied adult learning, instructional design techniques, and evaluation methodologies
- Familiarity with training needs analysis: job function analysis, task analysis, and audience analysis
- Experience working in any of the following areas is desirable: HR or work force management IT systems
- Experience working with virtual learning platforms and building digital/virtual learning programs a plus
- Experience working in a Quick Restaurant Service organization at a corporate or operational level is a plus
- Highly tech savvy and experience with Microsoft products
- Willingness to travel (at least 75% will be spent in the field)
