Shift: 12 hour A.M. 2-2-3 shift
Pay rate: $35.34 per hour with 1.5x on Saturdays and Sundays
Summary:
The Industrial Electrician position requires knowledge to safely repair, troubleshoot and support plant operations for Press Fabrics Manufacturing and Building maintenance. This includes Troubleshooting various programmable controllers, knowledge of AC/DC analog and digital Drives and troubleshooting and repairing electrical and mechanical equipment.
Responsibilities:
- Practiced in Safe work habits such as ARC flash and Lock out/Tag out.
- Keep production equipment running efficiently on a day to day basis. This includes Electrical, Mechanical and Pneumatic systems.
- Knowledge of electrical control systems that include PLC's, AC/DC motors, Servos, HMI's, 480 volt power and 120/24 volt controls.
- Installation of plant equipment according to the National Electrical Code.
- Troubleshoot building and process support equipment to supply power, steam, hot oil and air.
- Calabration of plant equipment.
- Competency using proper test equipment such as Meters.
- PLC experience is desired
Required Skills/Abilities (Example – modify as necessary):
- Certificate/Degree or a Journeyman's card in a Electrical maintenance related program preferred. 5 - 10 years of experience in an Electrical maintenance related field will also be considered. Voith will except applications from current Industrial Electrician apprentices and assume the apprenticeship.
- Fabrication skills such as operating a Lathe or Milling machine is a plus.
- Welding of any kind and related tasks such as Torching and grinding will also be considered a plus.
- Maintaining a clean and organized work area is a must.
