Position Overview: We are seeking an experienced IT/OT Architect Manager to lead our dynamic team of architects in supporting IT and critical infrastructure (OT) across various product lines, including terminals, pipelines, marine, and gas processing. This role requires a balance of technical expertise and leadership skills, with a strong emphasis on architecture practice, strategic planning, and team management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and manage a team of architects, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment.
- Architectural Oversight: Provide strategic direction and oversight for architecture practices, ensuring alignment with business goals and industry standards.
- Framework Implementation: Implement and uphold TOGAF standards within the team, driving consistency and quality in architectural practices.
- IT/OT Integration: Ensure seamless integration between IT and OT systems, leveraging your understanding of both domains to enhance operational efficiency.
- SaFe Framework: Utilize the Scaled Agile Framework (SaFe) to manage and coordinate architectural activities across various product lines.
- Solution Architecture: Oversee the development of solution architectures for each product line, ensuring they meet both technical and business requirements.
- Geographic Challenges: Address and manage geographic challenges impacting IT and OT infrastructure, ensuring robust and scalable solutions.
- Standards Setting: Establish and maintain architecture standards, ensuring compliance with industry best practices and regulatory requirements.
Qualifications:
- Experience: Minimum of 10 years in IT with at least 3 years in a leadership role managing professionals.
- Technical Expertise: Strong background in IT and OT, with experience in manufacturing, telecom, and oil/gas industries.
- Architectural Knowledge: Proficient in TOGAF and other architecture frameworks, with practical experience in their implementation.
- SaFe Certification: Familiarity with the Scaled Agile Framework (SaFe) is highly desirable.
- Leadership Skills: Proven track record of leading and managing an architect practice, with the ability to inspire and guide a diverse team.
- Communication: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of engaging with stakeholders at all levels.
Preferred Skills:
- OT Experience: Deep understanding of OT environments and their integration with IT systems.
- Geographic Challenges: Experience managing IT/OT architecture across diverse geographic regions.
- Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with midstream operations, including terminals, pipelines, marine, and gas processing.
