One of our growing healthcare clients is searching for an R&D Chemist! This person would be essential in assisting our client by working alongside the manufacturing team. Our client is needing someone who is able to work independently, and is comfortable with method validation, wet chemistry, HPLC GC instruments, and protocol writing.
Responsibilities:
- Complete method validation and assist as needed on special projects
- Perform, record, and report the results of chemical tests for raw material, in process and finished products by using various instruments
- Participate in analytical method development
- Execute method validation for pharmaceutical products
- Support formulation studies
- Incorporate regulatory compliance of GMP.GLP standards into standard operating procedures, protocols, and LTM's (long term electroencephalographic): capability of recording the EEG over long period of times
Qualifications:
- Bachelor of science in chemistry or science degree
- 2+ years experience in performing various wet chemistry tests, using UV/VIS and pH meters
- Familiarity with HPLC, GC, and FTIR
- Working knowledge of cGMP
