JOB SUMMARY
The Resolute PB Analyst is responsible for the configuration, implementation, and maintenance of the Epic Resolute Professional Billing (PB) system within the organization. This role involves analyzing and optimizing billing processes, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and providing support to end-users to enhance system functionality and revenue cycle efficiency. Our client is brand new to Epic so requires someone at the Lead level who is able and willing to mentor the FTE analysts and help guide good decisions for build.
Key Responsibilities:
- System Configuration and Management:
- Configure and maintain the Epic Resolute PB system, including charge capture, billing rules, and payer configurations.
- Implement system updates and enhancements, ensuring alignment with organizational needs and regulatory changes.
- Collaborate with IT and clinical teams to integrate Resolute PB with other systems and workflows.
- Process Optimization and Analysis:
- Analyze billing data and workflows to identify inefficiencies, errors, and opportunities for process improvements.
- Develop and implement strategies to optimize billing processes, improve claim accuracy, and enhance revenue cycle performance.
- Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) related to billing operations and financial performance.
- User Support and Training:
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting for Resolute PB system issues, resolving user inquiries and ensuring system functionality.
- Develop and deliver training materials and sessions for end-users to ensure effective use of the Resolute PB system.
- Act as a liaison between end-users and technical teams to address system-related concerns and gather feedback for continuous improvement.
- Compliance and Reporting:
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and payer regulations and guidelines related to professional billing and coding.
- Generate and review reports to monitor billing accuracy, denial rates, and financial metrics, taking corrective actions as needed.
- Participate in internal audits and reviews to ensure adherence to billing policies and procedures.
- Project Management:
- Lead and support projects related to the Epic Resolute PB system, including system upgrades, module implementations, and process improvements.
- Coordinate with stakeholders to define project scope, objectives, and deliverables, ensuring successful project execution and implementation.
Qualifications:
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience with Epic Resolute PB or similar professional billing systems; experience in a healthcare setting preferred.
- Certification: Epic Resolute PB certification required
- Skills:
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex billing data and trends.
- Proficiency in Epic Systems and other relevant healthcare billing software.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to train and support end-users effectively.
- Detail-oriented with a strong understanding of billing regulations, compliance requirements, and revenue cycle management.
Working Conditions:
- Hybrid Work Schedule: A combination of onsite and remote work. Regular onsite presence is required.
- Contract Duration: Initial contract of 6 months with potential extensions to 1 year, contingent on project needs and go-live schedule.
