Job Title: Senior Quality Engineer

Position Overview: We are seeking an experienced and driven Senior Quality Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have 8-10 years of experience in chemical manufacturing, with a strong background in quality engineering. Experience in semiconductor manufacturing is preferred. The Senior Quality Engineer will play a pivotal role in ensuring product quality and regulatory compliance, driving continuous improvement initiatives, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver exceptional products.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and maintain quality management systems and procedures to ensure the highest standards of product quality and regulatory compliance.
- Oversee quality control activities, including inspection, testing, and validation of high-purity chemicals and other chemical products.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards, including ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and other relevant certifications.
- Address and resolve quality issues, non-conformities, and customer complaints in a timely and effective manner.
- Utilize Six Sigma, Lean, and other quality improvement methodologies to identify areas for improvement and implement effective solutions.
- Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements, including FDA, EPA, and other relevant standards.
- Prepare and review documentation for audits, inspections, and regulatory submissions.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry regulations and standards, ensuring that the company remains compliant.
- Facilitate training and development programs related to quality standards and practices.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for customers regarding quality-related inquiries and issues.
- Manage customer audits and quality assessments, ensuring customer satisfaction and adherence to agreed-upon standards.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, or a related field. Advanced degree preferred.
- 8-10 years of experience in chemical manufacturing, with a minimum of 3 years in a quality engineering role.
- Experience in semiconductor manufacturing and handling high-purity chemicals is highly desirable.
- Proven track record of managing quality systems and driving process improvements.
- Strong understanding of quality management systems and regulatory requirements.
- Expertise in quality improvement methodologies such as Six Sigma, Lean, and DMAIC.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and interact with customers.
- Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification is a plus.
- Quality Management System (QMS) certifications (e.g., ISO 9001 Lead Auditor) are advantageous.
