Medical Assistant

They are currently seeking a Medical Assistant to be a vital member of their patient care team.
In this role, the Medical Assistant will be the backbone of daily clinical operations, engaging directly with patients to facilitate their care journey. From the moment they step into the practice, the Medical Assistant ensures a seamless experience, preparing them for examinations, assisting in procedures, and providing the necessary care and education.
NOTE: This is an on-site, contract-to-hire role.

Focus:
- Facilitate patient care by preparing examination rooms, documenting medical histories, and assisting healthcare providers during procedures.
- Provide educational support and clear communication to patients regarding treatment plans and skincare regimens.
- Conduct administrative duties with efficiency, including scheduling, handling patient inquiries, and managing billing and insurance processes.
- Oversee inventory management to maintain an adequate supply of medical necessities.
- Uphold stringent infection control standards to ensure a safe and clean clinical environment.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure smooth operations and high-quality patient service.
Skill Set
- Completion of a Medical Assistant program with a current certification.
- Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems and adeptness with basic office software.
- 1+ years of experience in a medical assistant capacity, preferably within a dermatology or similar healthcare setting.
- Strong organizational skills, capable of multitasking and maintaining attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.
- Exceptional communication abilities and a commitment to providing empathetic patient care.
- A proactive and eager learner, staying current with industry trends and best practices.
