POSITION OVERVIEW:
Terrible's is excited to announce the opportunity for a dedicated and skilled Paralegal with a focus on Licensing and Gaming to join our dynamic team. This role involves clerical and administrative support to our Legal, Licensing, and Compliance Departments, emphasizing gaming and regulatory matters. The ideal candidate will assist in researching and analyzing legal issues, handling license applications, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements across various jurisdictions.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
The following duties are critical to the role and may be assigned as necessary:
- Provide comprehensive support in gaming and licensing matters, including preparing and submitting license applications, compliance reports, and regulatory notices.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of relevant legislation, regulations, and industry developments.
- Coordinate with the Legal and Compliance Departments to prepare and submit necessary documentation such as notifications, reports, returns, and applications.
- Conduct thorough research on statutes, codes, rules, regulations, case law, and other legal materials.
- Efficiently organize and maintain electronic files and databases to ensure ease of access and retrieval.
- Assist in managing special projects and administrative tasks as required by the legal department.
- Uphold the highest standards of professionalism and adhere to the company's policies, practices, and procedures at all times.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Authorized to work in the United States.
- A Bachelor’s degree in a related field is preferred, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Previous experience in a legal or related field is advantageous.
- Ability to resolve routine legal issues under the direction of an attorney.
- Familiarity with a variety of field-specific concepts, practices, and procedures.
- Exceptional organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively across various levels of the organization.

Ability to read and interpret documents in English, such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals. Ability to read and communicate verbally in English. Written communication skills in in English may also be required.
