A services company in New Jersey is looking to fill an immediate need with the addition of a new Legal Secretary to their staff. In this role, the Legal Secretary will be responsible for providing administrative, clerical and legal support to the Legal Administrator.
Responsibilities:
The Legal Secretary will be responsible for:
- Preparing and sending letters and emails
- Reviewing legal documents
- Opening matters in Legal Tracker Database (will cross train, if needed)
- Filing documents electronically in Legal Tracker Database and CT Advantage
- Assist with data and clerical work
- Sending documents via DocuSign
- Mailing of correspondence via Fedex or Certified Mail
Qualifications:- 1+ years of experience in a Legal Secretarial and/or similar role
- Associate's and/or Bachelor's Degree
- Computer savvy
- Microsoft Office Suite proficient
- Solid problem solving and time management skills
- Been a part of a process and system change
- Great interpersonal skills
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
- Strong attention to detail
- Highly organized
