Quality Engineer

Lansing, MI

Roles and responsibilities:

Review PPAP submission packages to customers on first run parts.
Prepare and maintain the FMEA s, process flow diagrams and process control plans
Deals with customers and suppliers on quality concerns
Prepare documentation and conduct training sessions on quality issues & continuous improvement
Develop positive relationships and effective lines of communication with suppliers

Required:

Experience in creating & reviewing PPAP s
Knowledge and practical application of engineering principles, quality tools and methods such as Control Plans, PPAP, APQP, PFMEA, 8D, SPC, ISO 9001, etc.
Experience in PFMEA required.
Bachelor s degree in Engineering preferred but not required
