Job Description
Must Have Technical/Functional Skills:
- Good functional knowledge in eCommerce functional areas (Checkout, Search & Navigation, Product Details, Promotions, SEO etc.,)
- Excellent troubleshooting skills in ecommerce.
- Strong understanding and exposure to CDN , API gateway
- Splunk query handling skills
- Good experience in Java , Node Js , React Js , Spring boot
- Microservices\Container based architecture
- Strong hands-on abilities, including designing/architecting the solution and providing technical support for engineers in the team
- Align with business and org objectives, coordinate with cross-functional teams on delivering key results, and contribute technical decisions on projects and products
- Excellent leadership, communication, and management skills
- Strong Ecommerce application support experience ( preferable any large retailer )
- AWS ( Lambda , API Gateway , SQS , S3 , Dyanmo DB , Elastic Search)
- Quantum metrics
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Run the production environment by monitoring availability and taking a holistic view of system health
- Build software and systems to manage platform infrastructure and applications
- Improve reliability, quality, and time-to-market of eCommerce suite
- Measure and optimize system performance, with an attitude and goal for innovation and continual improvement
- Provide primary operational support and engineering for multiple large-scale distributed software applications
- Gather and analyze metrics from monitoring systems as well as applications to assist in performance tuning and fault finding
- Partner with development teams to improve services through rigorous testing and release procedures
- Participate in system design consulting, platform management, and capacity planning
- Create sustainable systems and services through automation and uplifts
- Balance feature development speed and reliability with well-defined service-level objectives
