The HR Coordinator role is pivotal in supporting various HR functions, including onboarding, benefits administration, unemployment claims management, training coordination, and more. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years of HR experience, with a strong aptitude for technology and a proactive approach to supporting HR initiatives.
What You’ll Do In This Role:
- Onboarding and Orientation: Facilitate the onboarding process for new hires, ensuring a positive and efficient experience. Coordinate orientation sessions and provide necessary support.
- Benefits Administration: Assist in managing employee benefits programs, including enrollment, changes, and inquiries, ensuring accurate records and timely processing.
- Unemployment Claims Management: Handle unemployment claims, maintain documentation, and collaborate with legal counsel as required.
- Training Coordination: Support the development and coordination of training programs, utilizing technology for effective delivery and tracking of training initiatives.
- Employee Engagement: Contribute to employee engagement programs and initiatives aimed at fostering a positive and inclusive workplace culture.
- Performance Management: Assist in performance management processes, including documentation and tracking of performance evaluations and development plans.
- HR Support: Respond to employee inquiries and provide guidance on HR-related matters, ensuring consistent and accurate information is communicated.
- HR Projects: Participate in HR projects and process improvement initiatives, contributing ideas and efforts to enhance HR operations and efficiency.
- Document Management: Prepare and distribute HR-related documents and communications, ensuring clarity and compliance with company policies and regulations.
The Experience You’ll Bring:
- Experience: Minimum of 3 years in HR roles with a focus on coordination and support functions.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in HRIS systems and Microsoft Office Suite; ability to learn and adapt to new technology tools.
- Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with employees at all levels.
- Organizational Skills: Excellent organizational and time management skills, with a keen attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
