Job Title: Assistant Property Manager
Location: San Diego, CA
Salary: $75k-$85k
*Must have Commercial office space experience along with CAM*
Position Overview:
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Assistant Property Manager to support the management of our properties and provide exceptional service to tenants and owners. As the Assistant Property Manager, you will work closely with the Property Manager to ensure the efficient operation of the properties, including tenant relations, lease administration, and building maintenance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the day-to-day operations of the property, including tenant communication and responding to inquiries
- Handle lease administration, including renewals, rent collection, and lease compliance
- Coordinate maintenance and repair requests, ensuring timely resolution
- Support the Property Manager in overseeing vendor relationships and service contracts
- Assist in preparing budgets, reports, and financial statements related to property operations
- Ensure compliance with property regulations, codes, and policies
- Conduct regular property inspections and assist in addressing any issues
- Assist in tenant onboarding and move-out procedures, ensuring a smooth process
- Provide exceptional customer service to tenants and stakeholders
Qualifications:
- 2+ years of experience in property management or a similar role
- Knowledge of property management software (e.g., Yardi, AppFolio, or similar)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
- Experience in lease administration, budgeting, and financial reporting is a plus
- Problem-solving skills and the ability to handle tenant and vendor issues effectively
