Adams & Martin Group is working with a well-established firm in St. Louis who is seeking a motivated Paralegal to join their team during an exciting phase of growth! This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, possesses excellent organizational skills, and can effectively manage tight deadlines. You will be stepping into an active caseload and playing a key role in driving cases toward resolution.
Preferred Experience:
- 2+ years working with personal injury cases.
- Familiarity with Litify or similar case management systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Case Investigation: Conduct thorough investigations, gather and analyze relevant documents, and maintain regular client communication.
- Documentation: Collect and organize all relevant case materials, including medical records, bills, and income loss documentation.
- Medical Record Analysis: Review and interpret medical records, prepare medical chronologies, and draft demand packages.
- Client & Stakeholder Communication: Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, attorneys, insurance adjusters, and medical providers, ensuring all parties are aligned on case details.
- Subrogation Compliance: Assist in managing subrogation issues, including Medicare/Medicaid and private insurance, ensuring full compliance with applicable regulations.
- Case Management: Organize and maintain case files, moving cases through the pre-litigation process independently.
Skills & Qualifications:
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as the position involves frequent client interaction.
- Detail-oriented with a strong work ethic, capable of thriving in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word and legal software. Experience with Litify is a plus.
- Knowledge of personal injury case processes and insurance policies, including coverage limits, provisions, and exclusions.
- Familiarity with medical terminology is advantageous but not required.
