The Opportunity:
As a key member of the executive team, you will lead the company’s HR organization: Talent Management, Succession Planning, Employee Relations, Training, Safety, and Compliance functions. This entrepreneurial role requires an individual who can operate with minimal guidance, take the reins on initiatives, and prioritize effectively to align human capital with both short-term and long-term business objectives and in doing so impact the company’s P&L.
Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic Leadership: Develop and implement comprehensive HR strategies and policies that support the company’s vision and goals, ensuring they are people-driven and strategically aligned.
- Operational Independence: Take initiative in overseeing all HR functions, including talent acquisition, employee relations, succession planning, and compliance, while operating autonomously to achieve business outcomes.
- Succession Planning: Focus on identifying and cultivating future leaders within the organization, enhancing the overall talent management and retention strategies to ensure long-term growth.
- Collaboration and Engagement: Work closely with the CEO and executive team, providing insights and participating in strategic discussions, ensuring your voice is heard and valued at the leadership table.
- Change Management: Proactively manage organizational change initiatives aimed at improving employee satisfaction and productivity, while being deeply involved in the process.
- Data-Driven Decision Making: Utilize HR performance metrics and data analysis to identify areas for improvement, ensuring tactical decisions are informed by a detailed understanding of business needs.
- Coaching and Development: Provide leadership, coaching, and guidance to business leaders to enhance organizational effectiveness, focusing on building a strong senior leadership team.
- Relationship Building: Cultivate strong internal relationships across departments, acting as a visible advocate for employees and promoting a culture of collaboration and support.
