Job Description
We are seeking a passionate and highly motivated Senior Developer to join our Engineering team. This role is crucial in shaping the future of our automotive technology, with a focus on system design & architecture. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing high-quality functions that enhance customer experience, making it seamless and smooth.
As a Senior Developer, you will provide technical leadership and vision in the design, implementation, testing, and deployment of both existing and new services in a multi-region configuration. Your expertise will be instrumental in creating innovative solutions for our next-generation vehicle systems, particularly in the realm of navigation and multimedia interfaces.

Duties and Responsibilities
- Design and develop REST application program interfaces (APIs) and Webservices
- Create reusable frameworks/components to support global delivery needs
- Maintain REST API documentation using Swagger and create design documentation
- Document work and engage in quality testing/validation for new features before customer release
- Troubleshoot issues and debug codebases efficiently
- Work on AWS cloud platform, including Amazon EKS (Elastic Kubernetes Service)
- Maintain and improve existing codebases and conduct peer reviews of code changes
- Adapt to new technologies, tools, and processes as required by the organization
- Ensure API layer security, monitoring, analytics, and throttling
- Collaborate with leads and team members to meet project deliverables and milestone dates
- Communicate effectively with team members and suppliers in a collaborative environment
Required Experience/Skills
- Extensive experience in software development, particularly in REST API and Webservices
- 4+ Years of experience with Go Lang, Java, and Node.JS
- Strong background in system design and architecture
- Proficiency in AWS cloud platform, especially with EKS
- Experience with API documentation tools like Swagger
- Solid understanding of security principles for API development
- Excellent debugging and troubleshooting skills
- Strong communication and collaboration abilities
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments
Nice-to-Haves
- Prior experience in navigation systems for automotive multimedia
- Familiarity with implementing and validating platform technical specifications
- Knowledge of automotive industry standards and protocols
- Experience with connected car technologies
- Familiarity with hybrid or electric vehicle systems
Education
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
- Advanced degree (Master's or Ph.D.) is a plus
