Mid-level Financial Consultant (Remote - Preferably Southeast Region)
Overview
* Involvement in at least one Epicor ERP implementation and experience working with Epicor ERP clients in finance, OR
* Participation in 2-3 ERP implementations in a finance-related role
* Willingness to travel up to 75%
* Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with clients
* Proven ability to identify gaps and translate them into functional requirement documentation
* Experience with at least one multi-company implementation involving financial consolidations and global master data
* Effective teaching skills, capable of engaging with individuals at all organizational levels
* Ability to accurately forecast the effort needed for educational sessions, workshops, or implementations based on the client's current state and skills
Epicor Expertise
* Capability to establish a Company, whether standalone or in a multi-company setup
* Proficiency in setting up, training, and implementing GL, AP, AR, and FA modules
* Experience with multi-site configurations
* Knowledge of the Project Management Module, including Project Billing
* Ability to generate key financial reports such as Trial Balance, P&L, Income Statement, etc. Familiarity with financial reporting tools like Spreadsheet Server, XL Connect, or EDA is a plus
* Understanding of month-end and year-end closing processes
* Costing experience with various methods: Standard, Average, FIFO, Last
Expectations
* Continuous certification on a quarterly basis, with Epicor Financials certification being mandatory
* Mentoring fellow employees and participating in internal training sessions and scheduled company meetings
* Daily time entry and maintenance of accurate work ticket status in the PSA system
* Reporting to a project manager and adhering to PMO guidelines for deliverables
* Contributing to sales activities, including providing demos or assisting with sales support when needed
Preferred Qualifications
* Knowledge of SOX and ISO standards
* Background in accounting
* Experience in customizing posting rules
