Supply Chain Manager

As they expand, we’re looking for a dedicated Supply Chain Manager to streamline operations and ensure the timely delivery of products and services.
The Supply Chain Manager will oversee and manage the entire supply chain process, from procurement of materials to delivery of the finished product. This role is crucial in ensuring that our fleet outfitting operations run efficiently and effectively, while also helping to manage costs and improve service quality.
Key Responsibilities:
Supply Chain Planning:
- Develop and implement supply chain strategies that align with company goals.
- Forecast demand and plan inventory levels to ensure optimal stock availability.
Vendor Management:
- Identify and establish relationships with reliable suppliers and vendors.
- Negotiate contracts and manage supplier performance to ensure quality and cost-effectiveness.
Procurement:
- Oversee the procurement process for materials and components needed for fleet outfitting.
- Monitor and manage inventory levels to prevent shortages or excess stock.
Logistics Coordination:
- Coordinate logistics and transportation to ensure timely delivery of materials and products.
- Work closely with shipping and receiving departments to manage inbound and outbound shipments.
Process Improvement:
- Continuously analyze supply chain processes and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Implement best practices and technologies to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
- Collaborate with the production, sales, and customer service teams to align supply chain activities with operational needs.
- Address and resolve supply chain issues and bottlenecks promptly.
Reporting and Analysis:
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and generate reports on supply chain performance.
- Analyze data to make informed decisions and drive improvements.
Key Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Logistics, or a related field. A relevant certification (e.g., APICS, CPM) is a plus.
- Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in supply chain management
- Skills:
- Strong understanding of supply chain principles and logistics using supplier scorecards to manage accountability.
- Excellent negotiation and vendor management skills using MRP to manage supply chain activities.
- Proficiency in supply chain management software and tools including ERP (WorkWise)
- Experience managing B2B agreements on the supply chain side
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
