Insight Global is looking for a Digital Design Engineer to support one of their largest aerospace and defense clients in the Southern California area.
Position:Secret Cleared Digital Design Engineer
Location: On-site in Azusa, CA, 9/80 Schedule
Work Authorization/Clearance: US Citizen, Active Secret Clearance
Duration: 6-Month Contract, high likelihood for extensions
Target Start Date: 10/7

Desired Skills and Experience
- Active Secret Clearance
- 10+ years of experience within aerospace and defense, specifically working with Digital and Design Engineering
- Strong experience within Hardware Engineering, with a focus on Digital Design, FPGA Design, VHDL Design
- Expertise with implementing new design features into existing algorithms, specifically clutter suppression algorithms.
- Experience with Questa for verification and validation of designs
- Expertise with Xilinx ISE for the synthesis and analysis of HDL designs
- Experience with Synplify tools for logic synthesis, error mitigation, and performance optimization of designs
Day-to-Day:
This individual will contribute to the design, development, and production of digital electronic equipment, integrated circuitry, and other hardware systems. This program is supporting the design and development of FPGAs for an integral program within the organization. Daily, this individual will be tasked with interfacing with multiple different teams within the Hardware Engineering organization, and be specifically responsible for leading the design and implementation of changes to specific algorithms utilized for clutter suppression. Backgrounds in digital design engineering, hardware engineering, hardware verification, integration, electronic engineering, and specifically digital design will find success in this opportunity. This Digital Design Engineer will be a 6 month contract role, working onsite in Azusa, California. This individual will be working a 9/80 schedule.
