Our client, a medical device company that manufactures, distributes, and installs instruments used across the healthcare field, is hiring a Senior Logistics Specialist to join their Shipping and Receiving team in Mountain Lakes, NJ. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing, logging, and maintaining all incoming and outgoing products as well as providing quality assurance on labeling, packaging, and shipping documentation/processes.

Responsibilities:
- Receive all incoming products accurately and track them in the inventory system
- Prepare and organize all outgoing shipments for customer orders and trade shows
- Assure quality control and documents for product labeling
- Determine storage areas for incoming shipments and allocate appropriate space within the warehouse
- Look through work orders to determine order-picking activities and pick orders according to the specific instructions provided
- Assist in loading and unloading trucks and determining safe ways of stacking items on the truck and retrieving items in a safe manner
- Arrange for carrier vehicle or pickup
- Maintain files of shipping records
- Follows up on emails from our internal and external customers including issues with customs
Requirements:
- 1-3 years of experience working in logistics, inventory, or shipping/receiving environments
- High School Diploma or G.E.D. required
- Knowledge of UPS and/or FedEx shipping software is preferred
