Role: Mechanical Engineer 3
Location: Sanford, NC
Duration: 24 months contract with possible extensions
Position’s Contributions to Work Group:
- To support current and new product development engineering for the compact track loader production line in Sanford, NC
Typical task breakdown:
- Troubleshooting
- Root cause analysis
- Designing resolutions to resolve RCA
- Ordering and setting up solutions on machines
- Updating and releasing drawings
Interaction with team:
- Work closely with Engineering team lead
- Will work closely with factory team to understand issue and resolve it
Work environment:
- Office, factory, and prove design (R&D)
- Most of the time will be in office; 30% between factory and prove design
Education & Experience Required:
- 5 years engineering experience minimum
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering (mechanical preferred)
- No experience cap
Technical Skills
(Required)
- 3D Modeling (Creo preferred)
- Experience with GD&T (global dimension and tolerancing)
- Experience with troubleshooting and root cause analysis

- Experience in a factory environment/factory support
Soft Skills
(Required)
- Microsoft experience (PPT, Word, Excel)
- Good Communication skills (verbal and written)
- Time management skills
