Responsibilities:
As a Production Planner you will be responsible for coordinating and optimizing production schedules to ensure timely delivery of aerospace components. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including procurement, engineering, and quality, to manage material availability, resolve supply chain issues, and ensure compliance with regulatory standards such as ITAR, EAR, and AS9100. You’ll leverage your expertise in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, EPICOR) to maintain accurate inventory levels and streamline production processes. Strong analytical skills and knowledge of Lean and Six Sigma methodologies will be essential to drive process improvements and enhance operational efficiency.
Qualifications and Skills:
• Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or related field.
• Experience (5+ years) in aerospace procurement, planning, or supply chain management.
• Understanding of aerospace manufacturing processes, materials, and components.
• Build effective relationships with suppliers both internal and external.
• ERP systems and procurement software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, EPICOR, GLOBAL SHOP MRP).
• Analytical and problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail.
• Thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
• Communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate cross-functionally.
• Regulatory requirements and compliance standards applicable to aerospace industry (e.g., ITAR, EAR, AS9100).
