Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Construction Manager specializing in Residential/ Commercial Landscape Design to oversee and manage landscape construction projects from inception to completion. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in landscape architecture, project management, and construction processes, with a keen eye for detail and a passion for creating aesthetically pleasing and functional outdoor spaces.
Key Responsibilities:
Project Management:
- Plan, coordinate, and manage landscape construction projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
- Develop project timelines, schedules, and work plans.
- Oversee all aspects of the construction process, including site preparation, grading, planting, hardscaping, irrigation, and lighting.
Design Implementation:
- Collaborate with landscape architects and designers to interpret and implement design plans.
- Ensure the construction process aligns with the intended design, making adjustments as necessary.
- Select and source appropriate materials and plants for each project.
Client Relations:
- Communicate effectively with clients to provide updates on project progress.
- Address client concerns and requests promptly and professionally.
- Maintain positive relationships with clients, fostering trust and satisfaction.
Budget Management:
- Prepare and manage project budgets, ensuring cost-effective use of resources.
- Track expenses and manage financial reports.
- Negotiate contracts with subcontractors and suppliers to obtain the best value.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Landscape Architecture, Construction Management, or a related field.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in landscape construction management.
- Strong knowledge of landscape design principles, horticulture, and construction techniques.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in project management software and tools.
- Valid driver’s license and the ability to travel to project sites as required.
