Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and source high-quality products and services from reliable vendors and suppliers.
- Negotiate pricing, terms, and contracts with suppliers to secure the best value for the company.
- Analyze market trends and assess the availability of materials and services to reduce supply chain risks.
- Monitor supplier performance, ensuring timely delivery and compliance with quality standards.
- Maintain and update procurement records, such as contracts, purchase orders, and invoices.
- Collaborate with internal departments to understand their material and service requirements.
- Assist in managing the company’s procurement budget and track cost-saving initiatives.
- Ensure adherence to procurement policies and procedures to maintain compliance with company and legal standards.
- Assist in supplier audits and performance reviews.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field; equivalent work experience considered.
- Proven experience as a Procurement Specialist, Buyer, or in a similar role.
- Strong negotiation and supplier management skills.
- Proficiency in procurement software and tools (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently and handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Knowledge of supply chain procedures and industry regulations is a plus.
