We are looking for a dynamic and results-driven short term Leasing Agent to join our team and assist in leasing up our rental community in Mundelein. The successful candidate will be responsible for attracting and converting prospective tenants into residents through effective marketing and leasing strategies. You'll work temporarily to support our leasing efforts and meet occupancy goals.
Responsibilities:
• Conduct leasing tours of the apartment community and provide detailed information about available units, amenities, and pricing.
• Respond to phone and email inquiries from prospective tenants in a timely and professional manner.
• Develop and implement effective marketing strategies to generate leads and maintain occupancy rates.
• Collaborate with property management to ensure that leasing goals and objectives are met or exceeded.
• Prepare and execute lease agreements and related documents in compliance with company policies and local laws.
• Conduct move-in and move-out inspections and ensure that units are rent-ready and maintained to company standards.
Requirements:
• High school diploma or equivalent; college degree preferred.
• Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in leasing, sales, or customer service, preferably in the multifamily housing industry.
• Knowledge of Fair Housing laws and regulations.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on providing exceptional customer service.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
• Proven ability to close deals and meet leasing goals.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and property management software.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
