Professional Search Group OC is seeking a Member Service Representative to join their clients team! The Member Service Representative is responsible for delivering a wide range of credit union products and services to both new and existing members within a needs-based sales environment, primarily through the Contact Center. This role involves providing exceptional member service by handling transactions such as receiving and disbursing funds, processing deposits, loan payments, and withdrawals, while also generating a qualified volume of product referrals.

Member Service Representative Responsibilities:
- Open new accounts, including checking, certificates, and shares, using the Xpress Account system, and manage related documentation through Docusign and PRISM.
- Process transactions for savings, checking, money market accounts, certificates, credit cards, and loans.
- Achieve Member Acquisition and Growth Strategy (MAG) targets.
- Provide accurate quotes on deposit rates, loan payoffs, and handle stop payment instructions on ACH and drafts.
- Resolve issues related to Home Banking, Bill Pay, and other electronic services, including verifying corporate check clearances through Moneygram.
- Conduct outbound calls for member retention, membership development, pre-approvals, and cross-selling of additional products and services.
- Respond promptly and courteously to member inquiries about credit union benefits and services, offering advice and assistance to support member loyalty and retention.
- Utilize the MAG process to guide members in selecting the products that best meet their needs, contributing to the department's cross-selling goals.
- Document all interactions in PRISM, ensuring accurate tracking of member needs and products/services sold.
- Maintain comprehensive knowledge of all credit union products, including GAP, Debt Protection, and Insurance.
- Adhere to all credit union policies, including those outlined in the Employee Handbook and federal regulations.
- Complete required annual training on BSA and federal regulations, ensuring compliance with Bank Secrecy Act, CTR, SAR procedures, USA Patriot Act/CIP, Truth in Savings, Reg. D, Reg. E, Privacy & Fair Lending Act, and TCPA.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Member Service Representative Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Strong communication and member service advisory skills.
- Proficiency in written and oral communication, with the ability to effectively exchange information over the phone.
- 1+ years of experience in a sales environment, preferably within the financial industry.
- Competent computer skills with a working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Teams.
- Understanding of Federal Regulations including Reg. CC, Bank Secrecy Act, CTR, SAR procedures, Truth in Savings, Reg. D, Reg. E, Privacy & Fair Lending Act.
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions and work independently with minimal supervision.
- Knowledge of depository and loan products.
