Hansen Talent Group is hiring a Data Analyst to work with a great team at of of the largest enterprises in Columbia, SC. This role will be responsible for maintaining databases, extracting data for analysis, and the day-to-day operational reporting.
This is a hybrid opportunity, requiring 3-4 days onsite per week in Columbia, SC.
What You'll Do:
- Analyzes data for creation of statistical reports used for program or process evaluation.
- Runs, reviews, extracts, and analyzes data to be used in formulation of procedures, processes and other requirements.
- Responsible for the annual maintenance process of the reports and documentation as well as some data entry and data validations.
- Provides reports to highlight problem areas and suggest improvements for operational issues.
- Assists with creating detailed analysis and data compilation to guide divisional projects.
- Develops data search programs to identify data supporting system or operational changes.
- Documents report processes for others to run reports independently.
Requirements and Qualifications:
- 4+ years of Research and Analysis experience
- Recent experience with Data Visualization, Accurate Data Entry, Data Validation, Data Analysis, ad-hocs, recurring reports, Microsoft Office: Access, Excel, etc.
- Ability to analyze data results, determine the source of aberrant statistics, and resolve data issues.
- Strong organizational, customer service, communications, and analytical skills.
- Advanced knowledge of mathematical and statistical concepts.
- Knowledge of programming languages across various software platforms, using DB2, SQL, and/or relational databases.
Candidates do not need a strong development background for this role.
