Here’s what you’ll be doing:
- Prepare U.S. trademark prosecution documents: applications, office action responses, renewals, affidavits, and more.
- Conduct trademark screening searches.
- Handle TTAB filings, including consent motions and extensions of time.
- Work on international trademark applications with WIPO and manage foreign counsel communications.
- Oversee ownership and name change documents.
- Conduct due diligence on trademark portfolios.
- Prepare U.S. Customs and Border Patrol trademark registrations and renewals.
- Assist with trademark enforcement and copyright applications.
What you bring to the table:
- Bachelor's Degree required.
- 4 to 10 years of trademark experience, with at least 4 years of prosecution work.
- A passion for intellectual property and learning new skills.
- Strong writing, editing, research, and organizational abilities.
- Willingness to work overtime and travel as needed.
