Role Mandate:
The main function of an algorithm developer is to design and implement compute vision and machine learning algorithms for the company's wearable product. The typical developer will be able to test the effectiveness of routines against requirements. The focus of this role will be on device model and algorithm development.
Role Responsibilities (including, but not limited to):
• Develop and apply advanced methods, theories, and research techniques of algorithms
• Designs, implements, and tests algorithms for a variety of signal processing and conditioning tasks
• Develop distribution ML training and evaluation pipeline w/ clusters
• Design efficient compute vision and machine learning algorithms for classification, detection, and image enhancement.
• Synthesize algorithm needs and designs for customer requirements.
• Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve issues found with software
• Improve software performance.

Must-Have Skills:
• Strong Linux experience
• Python, PyTorch, and video processing is required
• Development and deployment of machine learning training platforms experience
• Familiarity with shell script
• Experience with algorithm development
• Experience with object-oriented programming in C# and C++ or other languages
• Experience with machine learning toolkits and platforms
• 5+ years of experience.
Nice-to-Have Skills:
• Experience in UI design and development for big data visualization.
Soft Skills:
• Ability to manage projects autonomously
Educational Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, mathematics, or related field preferred
• Masters or Ph D
