General Job Description Summary:
Job Description: We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Last Mile Logistics Planner to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for planning and optimizing last-mile delivery operations with a focus on achieving key performance indicators (KPIs) such as On-Time Delivery (OTD) and Cost Per Box (CPB). You will collaborate closely with various departments to ensure the efficient and cost-effective execution of our last-mile logistics strategy.
Key Responsibilities:
- Logistics Planning: Develop and implement last-mile delivery plans that optimize routes, reduce costs, and ensure timely deliveries.
- Performance Monitoring: Track and analyze KPIs, particularly On-Time Delivery and Cost Per Box, to identify areas for improvement.
- Collaboration: Work closely with transportation coordinators, facility operations managers, facility operations supervisors, driver services, driver partners, and delivery service providers to coordinate and enhance last-mile operations.
- Problem Solving: Quickly address any delivery issues, including delays or inefficiencies, and develop solutions to improve overall performance.
- Reporting: Prepare regular reports on last-mile logistics performance, including detailed analysis of KPIs.
- Continuous Improvement: Identify and implement best practices and process improvements to enhance last-mile delivery efficiency.
- Hybrid Work Environment: While this is a hybrid role, you are expected to be on-site in the warehouse a minimum of 3 days per week, or as required based on business needs.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):
- On-Time Delivery (OTD): Achieve and maintain high levels of on-time delivery performance.
- Cost Per Box (CPB): Optimize delivery costs to ensure competitive cost per box metrics.
Desired Qualifications:
- Education: Associates/Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Experience: 3-5 years of experience in logistics planning, with a strong focus on last-mile delivery.

- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
