Currently partnered with an exciting pharma client who are looking to add an abundant amount of production operators onto their team.
In this role, you would be operating state-of-the-art pharmaceutical production machinery and performing a range of essential manufacturing tasks including weighing, blending, granulating, milling, compressing, encapsulating, coating, and more.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operates pharmaceutical production machinery for tasks like weighing, blending, dispensing, mixing, granulating, milling, compressing, and coating.
- Follows SOPs for equipment use and material purity.
- Operates scales, performs tare settings, and daily calibration checks as per SOPs.
- Verifies raw materials using Product ID Labels, QC release tags, and Batch Production Records.
- Cleans equipment and performs batch changeovers.
- Conducts in-process quality checks, documents results, and may sample batches for testing.
- Meets production schedules and participates in debriefs to address deviations.
- Accurately completes batch records, protocols, and logbooks, ensuring timely verification of processes.
- Provides status updates and reports operational challenges.
- Helps troubleshoot issues and contributes to at least one improvement project.
- Complies with cGMP, safety, and SOP requirements, maintaining a clean work area.
- Participates in safety teams, incident debriefs, and start-up meetings.
- Completes required training and shares knowledge with team members for collaborative success.
Qualifications:
- Extensive experience in solid dose manufacturing (OSD), with expertise in one or more areas such as compression, granulation, encapsulation, Wurster coating, coating processes, fluid bed drying, and bead towers. (3 to 7+ years of experience)
- Skilled in cleaning, setting up, dismantling, and operating advanced tablet presses and encapsulation equipment, including models like the Fette 3200i, Fette P 3030, MG2 Planeta, and Korsch XM 12.
- Well-versed in FDA regulations, GMP standards, Lean Manufacturing principles, and Six Sigma methodologies.
- Possesses strong practical knowledge and technical skills related to the procedures, tools, materials, and equipment required for the role.
- Demonstrates proficiency in basic math, reading, clear writing, and problem-solving.
- Capable of sampling batches and actively contributing to Continuous Improvement initiatives.
