Create, support and maintain databases required for development, testing and production usages on both Windows and Linux OS.
- Provide guidance and deliver solutions that ensure effective and efficient backup and recovery of Oracle and SQL database environments.
- Monitor database applications and makes recommendations on upgrades or new functionality.
- Organize, plan and execute database upgrades and patches
- Provide database technical expertise to support and advise the application development team
- Maintain database user accounts to ensure compliance with campus security policy.
- Apply CMS released maintenance pack in PeopleSoft HCM/CS Dev instances and other sysadmin related activities.
- Coordinate and perform PeopleSoft HCM/CS Dev instance refresh and clone
- Coordinate and implement system modifications, creates documentation, and participates in strategic planning of system enhancements
- Responsible for analysis, design, technical development, testing and full life cycle implementation of projects
- Creation and maintenance of scripts to streamline and optimize system performance on both Windows and Linux OS.
- Documentation and Reporting: Maintain comprehensive documentation of system configurations, processes, and procedures. Generate regular reports on system performance, trends, and security incidents.
