About the Lids Foundation
The Lids Foundation provides support directly to local communities and to the charitable organizations that serve them to enable community members of all ages to live more active, healthy, and productive lives. The Lids Foundation raises money through both fundraisers organized and supported by Lids teammates and through donations made in Lids stores across the country. Lids supports 501(c)(3) charities across the United States and Canada with money, expertise, and time whose goals and values align with those of the Lids Foundation.
Position Overview
The Program Coordinator reports directly to the Executive Director of the Lids Foundation and will support the Executive Director and Board of Directors in furthering the efforts of the Lids Foundation through planning and executing charity events and fundraisers.
- Work with Board of Directors and Executive Director to guide mission, strategy, and vision of the Lids Foundation.
- Responsible for scheduling and taking minutes for Foundation Board Meetings.
- Assist with planning and implementation of charity events and fundraisers and manage partnerships with volunteers and foundation employees.
- Support the day-to-day operations of the Lids Foundation. This person assists the Executive Director in developing, overseeing, and managing program resources, from financial resources to talent and staff assets.
- This person will measure outcomes and outputs to determine quality and impact of efforts, and will assist the Executive Director in engaging the business community for strategic partnerships and career development. In addition to managing and updating existing processes and systems, the Program Coordinator will also scope and implement new initiatives.
- Assist with overseeing day-of operations of foundation sponsored events and provide hands-on support to ensure successful execution of foundation sponsored events.
- Coordinate logistics including arranging staff and volunteer travel, accommodations, local ground transportation, catering, meals, and processing travel expenses.
- Manage compelling online fundraising and advocacy campaigns from initial concept development to final execution.
- Analyze trends in results to improve future strategy for fundraising campaigns.
- Build solid relationships with your nonprofit clients, partners, and your team.
Required Skills
- 1+ years of project management experience is required; additional non-profit experience is ideal.
- A bachelor’s degree is required.
- Experience utilizing MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Teams)
- Ability to travel as required to foundation events and fundraisers.
- Ability to organize and effectively manage multiple projects and deadlines.
