Field Service Project Manager
Location: Batavia, OH
Pay Rate: $75K – 90K
Bonus: 10% based on performance
JOB SUMMARY:
The Field Service Project Manager’s primary role is to assess job specific assignments and determine resource needs and capabilities, coordinate the availability of materials and equipment, and provide supervision and leadership to perform work onsite directing task with assigned employees and subcontractors in support of meeting job specific demands.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily specifically managing all projects post shipment from Freeman Facilities. The requirements listed are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. Other duties may be assigned.
Assesses project specific resource needs and coordinates assignments with assigned personnel and or subcontracted personnel. Communicate core technical job requirements, ensures assigned personnel are appropriately assigned to projects.
Support Field Services Manager on planning and organizing job assignments which ensure the most effective return on assets
Initiate plans and processes which minimize project costs through effective utilization of manpower, equipment, facilities, and materials. Assure attainment of business objectives and production schedules while ensuring product standards that will exceed our customer’s expectations.
Oversee projects from start to finish for compliance with Company standard practices and procedures
Project manage large/key projects regardless of location when assigned
Manage expenses against project budgets and make recommendations to reduce expenses.
Coordinate proper project handoff between Sales, Engineering, Plant and Safety personnel.
Participate in job preparation meetings to discuss in detail work scope, project specifications, budgets, schedules, and safety requirements with project team
Actively communicates with other departments to assure activities are properly coordinated. Receives engineering documentation and updates administration for follow up. Utilizes available communication tools including Office 365 Teams, Planner and Outlook to communicate daily status updates.
Ensure timely and accurate time and expense reporting daily.
Consults and coordinates as necessary to utilize suppliers with the capabilities to meet material and equipment needs for shop and field activities. Responsible for expediting and resolving issues regarding material and equipment availability.
Oversees all required documentation and records related to projects onsite.
Contains material, equipment and vehicle costs by eliminating wasteful practices and implementing appropriate control measures. Compiles and maintains inventory records of quantity, type, and value of material, equipment or supplies returned from sites.
