We are seeking an IT Business Analyst for a long term opportunity with our client in Columbia, SC.
**This is an onsite position in Columbia SC. Only local candidates or those within a comfortable commuting distance to Columbia SC should apply.
*W2 long term contract, must have work status to be employed directly (Green Card, US Citizen, EAD). No C2C or third party candidates, please.
What you’ll do in this role:
- Engaging in active management of the product lifecycle to support the development team on the APS contract, ensuring clear communication with both technical and non-technical stakeholders to convey intricate technical and business concepts and requirements. This will include documenting business requirements, developing users stories and detailed acceptance criteria.
- The system manages a substantial amount of data, requiring the candidate to analyze reports, inputs, and outputs to determine the downstream effects and the root causes of transactional data.
- Defines customer needs in technical and business contexts. Ensure the proposed technical and business solutions meet the customer's objectives for the work effort. Provide guidance with planning and prioritization of business support-related activities.
- Elicit and document user requirements to meet a business objective. Identify and validate requirements and organize the information into a logical document that is understood by the customer and Information Systems.
Required Skills/Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Business or related field or additional years of job-related experience.
- 5 years of IT business analysis experience.
- 7+ years of experience as product owner
- SAFe Certification
