A leading global chemical manufacturer is looking to appoint a Senior PSM Specialist to oversee a high-risk production facility at one of their key locations near Piqua, OH. The incumbent will be responsible for managing a small team of direct reports and will be the subject matter expert for all PSM programs and compliance at the plant.
The Role:
- Manage and maintain all site-based PSM permits and programs
- Accountable for managing site process safety documentation to include program design, data collection and posting, training documentation, audits
- Conduct PSM audits and lead PHAs
- Ensure compliance with local and federal regulatory agencies, ensuring all reports and documentation are maintained
- Train and influence site leadership and employees on Process Safety best practices
- Interface with state and federal regulatory agencies
The Candidate:
- 5+ years in Process Safety roles within a chemical or petrochem setting
- Demonstrated knowledge and experience with PSM requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or related technical field.
- Excellent interpersonal and leadership skills, with the ability to influence and engage others
