Hardesty, LLC on behalf of our client, A Multi-Site Building Products Company is searching for a Human Resources Manager. The ideal candidate will support the full scope of Human Resources responsibilities and partner with the organization on strategic initiatives. They will maintain and enhance the organization's human resources by planning, implementing, and evaluating human resources policies, programs, and practices. Experience with Workers Compensation is a plus.

Responsibilities:
- Employee Relations: Act as a bridge between management and employees, addressing demands, grievances, and other issues.
- Performance Management: Oversee performance appraisal systems to drive high performance and provide feedback.
- Training and Development: Develop and implement training programs to enhance employee skills and career development.
- Compensation and Benefits: Create and maintain a compensation strategy based on market research and pay surveys.
- Compliance: Ensure the organization complies with local, state, and federal regulations.
- HR Policies: Develop, implement, and maintain HR policies and procedures.
- Strategic Planning: Partner with management to ensure HR goals are aligned with business initiatives.
- Employee Retention: Design and implement strategies to retain top talent.
- Recruitment and Staffing: Help manage the recruitment process, including job postings, interviewing, hiring, and onboarding new employees.
Qualifications
- Strong understanding of HR practices and labor laws.
- Bachelor's degree or relevant experience
- 5+ years' experience in Human Resources
- Demonstrated expertise training managers and employees
- Strong organizational, critical thinking and communications skills
- Attention to detail and good judgement
