Job Summary:
Our client, a reputable company in higher education, is seeking a Marketing Brand Awareness Specialist to strengthen their grassroots presence in the South Florida market. This role will involve creating and executing brand recognition strategies, attending community events, and driving awareness of the company's educational programs across the Miami area.

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute brand awareness strategies to enhance visibility in the South Florida market, specifically Miami.
- Attend and represent the company at community events, career fairs, gyms, coffee shops, and other relevant locations.
- Rent booths and set up promotional materials at various events such as sports events, trade shows, and local festivals.
- Build and maintain relationships with local organizations, influencers, and community leaders to increase program visibility.
- Actively engage with the public to communicate the benefits of the company's educational programs.
- Collaborate with the internal marketing team to align messaging and promotional efforts with overall marketing goals.
- Track and report on marketing initiatives and event outcomes to assess effectiveness and adjust strategies as needed.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in marketing, event management, or community outreach.
- Strong knowledge of the Miami market, including key community events and organizations.
- Excellent communication, networking, and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple events and activities simultaneously.
- Willingness to travel frequently within the Miami area for events.
- Comfortable with public speaking and engaging with diverse groups of people.
- Experience working with higher education or nonprofit organizations is a plus.
Additional Skills:
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Experience using social media platforms to promote events and programs.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus.
